The vision of the Woolgoolga and District Retirement Village is that Senior Citizens in our community will have access to high quality, affordable, relevant and flexible aged care services and activities.
The mission of the Woolgoolga and District Retirement Village is to provide the highest standard of aged care services to the Senior Members of our community, designed to promote and protect their dignity, health, happiness and participation in the community, regardless of race, culture or religion.
The Village is a not-for-profit community owned company and is run by a Board of Directors consisting of members of the community. Members of the Board do not receive payment - it is a voluntary position. Members of the Board visit on a regular basis and are available for a chat to ensure that your wellbeing is being promoted and maintained.
The original buildings were constructed in 1991, with a number of additions and upgrades since. The village is made up of 30 Independant Living Units, and a 66 bed Aged Care Centre.

We currently have 9 one-bedroom and 21 two-bedroom, independent living units in the Village. The units are situated adjacent to our 66-bed Aged Care Centre.
Aged Care Centre
The Aged Care Centre supports Ageing In Place (within the Aged Care Act guidelines) and has 66 beds, which include 1 low care respite bed and 2 high care respite beds.
